CHARITY THAT WORKS

Charity In The Community (CITC) is a US  Government recognized 501 (c) 3  organization located in the center of Chicago. Founded in 2002 by Janette and Henry Razor, CITC offers IT training to community residents while offering a stimulating learning environment to all our IT interns and participants.

We hold classes on Saturdays and augment this with weekday evening labs. We provide a real world technical environment with real world working equipment that allows us to recreate problems, analyze procedures, and arrive at proven solutions. These practices, coupled with clear and concise explanations provided by Industry certified professionals, with real world working experience yields success to all involved.  We recognize the need for access to high quality training for the residents of inner city communities as well as the need for non-profits and businesses to transform and transition current and future employees in this constantly evolving technical industry.

We are recognized and supported by key businesses, individuals, local communities, and organizations. Classrooms are equipped with computers, routers, switches, wireless devices and the latest software to ensure that our participants are prepared to support real working applications.
